Morning All,

Hope everyone is having a good day. I'm just going to leave this here...

Just reporting does not remove or suspend users or posts.

All reporting does is alerts The Editors

Reports are not seen by User Moderators

There is no "10 reports = suspended" system AT ALL.

THERE IS A WEEKEND EDITOR. He is human.

THERE IS A EVENING EDITOR. He is human.

There are USER MODERATORS. They have the power to suspend & ban users.

Suspensions are for an ARBITARY amount of time. Editor's decide this.

Bannings are permanent.

If you think we've been unfair at any point ask yourself the following questions about the situation: "Does it involve my mate?" & "Does it involve me?" - If you answer yes to either of these you may be suffering from a social illness known as "bias"

We DO NOT tell everyone why they are banned, suspended etc, it is not a constructive use of our time.

Suspension-by it's definition-is temporary. So how can it define those who can never post again-yet their posts remain?

Got it ;-)
Can you not mention 'suspensions' and 'hats' in the same sentence, please ? :o(

It gives some people entirely the wrong mental picture !!
lol, pasta.

Maybe wise to let it go now eh?

Sure you (or me either come to think about it) may not fully understand how it works (though i think my hat idea is a good one!), but i think banging on about it is a good way for you to find out what it means- and not in a good way either.
salla LOL....I thought that CB had the most boring threads, but this one is mounting a serious challenge.

And yes Sqad, it is, but I need somewhere I can pop to every time I need to copy & paste this stuff.

People are so forgetful.

Spare Ed
lol
I was not 'banging on about it',B00.......I was enquiring based on my understanding of the word 'suspension.'
I fully accept that the Ed's got to do what an Ed has to do.

Heh Pasta, can see you tipping your stetson as you said that ;-)

That was quick...
[email protected] don't do stetsons where I come from.....
Got to admire their tenacity... posting on the Ed's thread about suspension and banning...
You'd think they'd get sick of opening email accounts...
I think they were already a bit sick to begin with ummmm... They seem rather unbalanced.
