Aldi Advert ?????

Dont get it, 3 guys two are beef farmers and the other likes musicals.

I think they are trying to say that farmers are butch men, whilst liking musicals makes you less masculine.

I don't like the advert at all. Find the notion a tad old fashioned.

I think it's quite funny, I didn't take it like that 2sp, I took it that you expected the third guy to say 'I like rearing beef' because he looked masculine ( with a beard etc) and then suddenly he went against type and said ' I like big glossy musicals'.lol. I like all the Aldi adverts in fact.

I usually like the Aldi adverts, but I just found this one fell short of the usual humour.

I can see where you are coming from, Shar. I think if it didn't have "Man A, Man B, Beef Farmers and Luke" written at the bottom I would have seen it from your point of view.

If they hadn't stated that Luke wasn't a farmer I probably would have liked it.

(Does that even begin to make sense??)

It makes sense I took it also that Luke was less masculane, but I dont think it is funny, not a patch on the woman that likes the gin that was the best
