It used to be the Houndsditch Warehouse years and years ago. Think its now called Golds, cant be sure though.

Golds is The Big Red building on Golders Green Road.

The big red building was at the top of middlesex street at the Algate end. It was a leather shop which was owned by Warren Gold who, back in the sixties was Lord John in Carnaby Street. He now has a shop in Golders Green and sell suits
Now its a bigger shop than before. its got a website too, www.thebigredbuilding.com and the car park has been expanded. Great service.. good value.. tops +++

This is the jingle for the Houndsditch Warehouse, which is differern\'t to the big red buiding in Petticoat Lane
My grandmother Ellen Rowe was the book keeper for goldrange for many years and was known as the big red building in peddicoat lane, it was owned by two gentleman brothers, Warren and David Gold and was the place to go to purchase a leather jacket, coat or sheepskin which I still proudly own one that as never been worn and was purchased in 1982 for my grandfather but never worn and comes with the original goldrange price tag.I think the jingle was played on Capital radio and went "Goldrange the big red building in peddicoat lane".
