Ginger Hair - Just Making An Observation

nothing against them but have you noticed how many ginger haired kids/people there are in adverts? Some are the same ones, but there are a lot of them all of a sudden - are they trying to be politically correct (or are they taking over?)

Not a lot of ginger in my family gness.....a great neice and that is about it...but my first love...Billy .. was ginger as was his entire family....ooo I did llike him and his hair. Sigh.....himself was brown and is now white (what is left of his hair!!) I am a proud redhead.....

Mally....I have always loved being a redhead....not really ginger....a deep, unusual red inherited from my dad....he was one of eighteen so I have lots of cousins with this coloured hair....

Mine is fading now....but I'm lucky...it's fading nicely as often happens with redheads......

When I was being wheeled in to have my daughter I was asked what I wanted.....I ordered a seven pound, redhaired girl......I got a seven pound girl but sadly she was blonde.... I blame her dad.....:-)

I *was* a redhead...quite a dark shade and I loved it. It made me feel special. Mine is now...well it depends on the light. Sometimes I see gray/white,sometimes a sort of light strawberry blond. There are still hidden streaks of what it used to be. Sometimes people didn't believe I was naturally red...I have very dark brown-almost black-eyes. From my Italian mum I assume.

Pasta....sounds just like me......I just loved having dark red hair...it was as you say...special....different.....and yes, strawberry blonde would describe it now but still with the streaks of red.....

I do get asked now where I get mine coloured and nobody believes it's natural....except for Shoota who is convinced it's grey......x

My sister used to get very upset if I called her 'ginger' during our childhood fights and arguments. She'd say "I'm not ginger, I'm strawberry blonde!"

What do you redheads think of that? Are you ginger or strawberry blonde?
