I just about to ask a similar question... I know it's called "Sh-Boom" and there were literally dozens of versions of it recorded back in the 1950s, I just don't know which particular version is used on the ad.

I haven't seen this ad but the most often used version of sh-boom is by the Crew Cuts got to No12 in Oct 1954 though Darts did a good version in 1980
