Had one of these running for about 2 months but now the icon has disappeared out of the system tray! I clicked on the netgear smartwizard icon on the desktop but got no response, and after trying to repair through the control panel just got stuck at the licence agreement (clicking all the options brought no response)

Do I have to go through the pain of reconnecting the PC to the modem physically (after uninstalling) and starting again from scratch or has anybody got an alternative solution?

Cheers

The most likely cause of the problem is someone having right-clicked on the system tray icon and selected DISABLE.

If this is the case, simply go to START>SETTINGS>NETWORK AND DIALUP CONNECTIONS then right click on Local Area Connection, select ENABLE and then shutdown and reboot.
