I have little to go on here, there has been a piece of music i have heard for years on tv, in a film on numerous adverts, etc, and never got the title or remembered the adverts, althought think one is showing at the moment.

Anyway the film was a bit strange, a scene shows a man on his own in a dingy bedroom sat on an old bed, jumping up and down, looks like he is testing the springs, (fully clothed if your wondering) the shot seems to last for a while, also in the movie i think i recall a tramline, with the man using one of those tram things that railway workmen used in the old days, where you move a central piston up and down, a man on either side.
The music is in this movie, and it starts off quiet and you can here what sounds like telephones then it gets louder as it proceeds, sounds a bit classical.

it has five main tones you can here used throughout, (not close encounters, lol.).
I know its not much to go on, but cannot think of anything else.
