I don't think there is such a channel, but wouldn't it be great if there were? I'd love to see TV shows from the 80's and 90's such as Super Gran, Grange Hill, Byker Grove, Count Duckula, Trapdoor. What would everyone else be interested in seeing?

Oooh, yes! I could get to see all the ones I missed, like 'the Seige of Golden Hill'.

And then all those Sunday teatime costume dramas - Nick Lyndhurst's double lead role in 'The Prince and the Pauper'.
Maggie - Sunday evening serial about a Scottish teenage girl:

Aaaaah..... someone has the same kind of thoughts as I have.
I couldn't agree more with you there jackie!!!
Come on you miserable TV companies.....give us a Retro-Channel that we can see what went on in the early days of childrens programming.I'm sure that some of the kids today would love to see cartoons like Count Duckula....awww, I loved this animated series. It was so funny. xD :)
We had much better programmes then, that we have today!!
and rentaghost
but please not "Heidi"
Take me back to the early 70's - everlasting summer holidays :)

the singing ringing tree anyone!?

nightmarish show.
I'd need some 70s ones in there - Children of the Stones, Ghosts of Motley Hall, Dick Turpin, Fall Guy, HR Pufnstuf, Sapphire & Steel...

Thanks everyone, some great ideas there :-)
I would love to see a repeat run of Sapphire and Steel, and Children of the Stones.
When I first saw Children of the Stones back in the 70's , i thought it was quite a creepy tale.......!
It still is! I got the entire series on DVD as well as the Sapphie & Steel collection. It's amazing, I really don't think they'd be made these days as they treated kids like they had a brain so tackled complex storylines.

Some more shows - catweazel, Worzel Gummidge, Into the Labyrinth
Hmmm,do you know what Whickerman, I'm really tempted to get myself the DVD series of Sapphire and Steel, and Children O.T.S. via Amazon.co.uk
But, you just mentioned Into the Labyrinth,Worzel Gummidge......oh my word,heh,heh....now you are taking me back to my childhood days......ooooh I had great times then!! :D
Just had a look - Sapphire & Steel... I paid a LOT more than that! I'd recommend both, they're as good as I remembered. I don't use amazon (I use Play) but the release of these shows is great. I 've been getting them as I come across them; Dick Turpin and Motley Hall were two great collections too.
Oh yes, I can always go on Play.I have bought stuff from them as well mate.
I never watched Motley Hall and Dick Turpin myself.....there have been other shows I watched.Like Follyfoot,Black Beauty,The Adventure Game.
Tomorrow People,Blakes 7,Sky ( I was a big fan of these tv series)
Definitely would watch that channel!
