Your most hated advert on TV
Does anyone have an advert that makes them cross, angry, happy or sad.
The most annoying advert/s for me are anything to do with debt or loans. The most annoying one to date has to be that loan one when the man is being videoed by his wife while making the call to the loan company. He wants a loan for oh the small sum of 25,000 and is so happy and carefree on the phone and is all chatty and having a bit of banter with the person on the other end of the phone. GGRRRRRRR

I get annoyed by the quote me happy adverts. I might phone up Norwich Union today and just say "it's an estate". Bet they wouldn't be able to give me a quote!
I HATE the anti-smoking adverts - make of that what you will, but they get turned off in my house.
I also don't like the cancer charity advert. I feel like it's blackmailing me into giving money - 'it's your fault this woman is getting married without her mum if you don't give us money'.
Now i sound like a right scrooge.
The Carol Vorderman loan ad - There's something rather insidious about a very highly paid celeb encouraging people to get into debt.
The Ocean Finance ad where there are people extolling the virtues of getting a loan from these shysters (have you noticed on this ad that pretty much all of the people are fat!).
The Audi ad where pieces spell out words and then form into the car - this ad is accompanied by an annoying rising noise that sends the dog mental.
Any ad that has been dubbed into English - the lip sync is awful.
The Old El Paso fajita advert where the guy is cooking for his girlfriend whilst she's on the phone to a mate and making disparaging remarks about his cooking: I'd like to see an alternative ending to this ad with the guy emptying the whole pan of food onto her smug head and then kicking the bint out.
Hi.
These have all had me nodding my head in agreement. Seems to be the loan and debt adverts that get us all going the most.
Ducati. I am still nodding with you over the El Paso advert. I would also have poured the whole lot over her ungrateful head.
Don't even start me on the Carol Vordeman adverts. !!!!!
Thanks for making me smile everyone. Some damn stupid jack ass has just reversed into my car and now I have this feeling its gonna be one hell of a lot of trouble, so the laugh has done me good. Cheers.
Yes, ambulance chaser ads, especially the one mentioned by sponge - at least I think it's that one. The old hag on the ad usually only gets as far as "Soooo, Injury Lawyers 4U..." before I've changed channel.
Yes, loan shark ads, especially the Carol Vorderman ones where she's playing with those coloured bubble things - what's that all about? Crafty ploy by the loan company, I mean, people trust Auntie Carol, don't they?
Yes, emotionally blackmailing charity ads - if they spent more time showing the good donations can do and the difference they can make rather than tugging at the heratstrings, I would be inclined to donate more. Don't give me "this girl's mum can't be at her wedding because she's dead, since YOU didn't give to our cancer charity, and more will die if you don't give NOW", give me "this girl's mum had cancer, but now she's cured and can go to her daughter's wedding thanks to donations from the public. Please help us cure more people."
Thanks, Top totty, I feel much better now :O). To finish, I must just mention one compensation ad that actually used to make me laugh. The one where a gormless looking girl said "I was asleep in the car and when I woke up we'd had an accident". Thing is, she's standing by the open driver's door of the car. Maybe you should stay awake when you're driving then, love.
