Dog bald spots

Ive noticed about 5 or 6 bald spots on our puppy, they are round and about the size of a 5 pence piece. We are taking him to the vet today but just wanted to know if anyone else had experieced this...

my dog keeps rubbing his fur off?

My Dog is quite long haired and he started rubbing his back on the carpet and if we let him outside on gravel till he has no fur left and his back is bleeding, we put teatree spray on it to stop it...
