It is just a cute little harmless bundle - how could anyone .............. nah I will never understand the mentality of people like this.

I read the other week of an incident in Ireland where thugs stole a homeless guy's pet rabbit and threw it in a river (Liffey ?). The guy went in after his rabbit and saved it. How can people live with themselves ?

No wonder I prefer my cats (previously had dogs) to people in general.

I honestly believe people who do this to animals are simply awaiting the opportunity to hurt / maim /kill other peopl, but small animals are less likely to fight back. There is a special corner of hell reserved and waiting.
