my husband and i are getting a red heeler (australian cattle dog) female pup. we've compiled a list of 30 names! we like them all some more than others but i thought it would be fun to have people vote on their favorite to try to help us narrow the list:

Having looked at pictures of Australian cattle dogs though, I would go for Brindle Speckle, or Spotty.

From that list Devotchka - sounds like vodka or something like scrot rot.

As it's Aussie, how about "Drunk"

Or just plain Woof - that's better than calling your dog "Sex" - Imagine being out at 4am and looking for the dog. The police turn up and say "What are you doing out at this hour?" Response: I am looking for "Sex". With "Woof" they will just think you are barking mad.

A red dog. Loge would be my choice, Fire God from The Ring, or Loki, Norse version. Heelers being quick movers and red, just lke fire. Bit classier than Sizzle lol.
