The Time Has Come......for A New Puppy!
It's now 9 months since I lost my dog. Now the time has come to start afresh. Yesterday I saw our new puppy for the first time.
I can hardly wait to be a dog owner again, since being without has made me very lazy, I must admit. I used to be out in all weathers, and now it's too easy to stay at home when it chucks it down.
He's a Welsh Springer Spaniel, 5 weeks old and we're calling him Harry (a Prince called Wales with red hair and a sense of fun:-). We get him mid April, so plenty of time to make the place puppy-safe!
For that reason we've put off the new carpet and suite - let chaos reign!
Marvellous!

Wow! Six weeks ! You've got a lot of fun ahead of you. Don't think he'll mind all weathers when he's old enough. Springers live up to their name, dead 'springy', quite apart from what it really means (springing game).Plenty of life there, and a bit crackers. And, as Lankeela says, something of a rare breed (a mystery in itself), too.
Good for you. I wish you both a long and, probably eventful (lol) life together
