yes that's her ! She is so adorable Tilly . We have been for a long walk along an extremely windy seafront at teatime and she loved it x
I'm sure she did. GSD's love walking in the wind, don't they. Mine sits in the garden when it's windy letting the wind blow in her face.

Are you going to take her to puppy socialising classes? My first GSD hid under the chair the first time I took her. I don't think Reeva will do that!
jasmin, congrats on your puppy, can I just say that you should not be berated for wanting a full bred rather than a rescue.

Had hubby allowed me I would have bought a Welsh Terrier (very expensive and rare) but as a compromise to getting a dog I had to get a rescue - don't get me wrong I love him to bits but a little bit of me will always hanker after a welsh terrier.
Jasmin, may you both have a wonderful time, enjoy every minute xxx

Tilly she is going to go to a crèche two days a week once she has been spayed so in the mean time we are going to take her puppy classes, I think she will love it.
FGT thank you for those kind words-almost puts me off posting and also reading post on here when I see some of the things that are said x
Question Author
thank you psybbo I am sure she is going to bring lots of happy times x
Please don't be put off, not everyone will judge you!
Question Author
Thanks FGT , had I realised my post would generate as many negative comments I probably wouldn't have asked the question. However you are right , there are some lovely, helpful people on here who have assisted me in the past,x
Keep us posted, jasmine. I want to know all the details.
Question Author
haha I will do Tilly ! I could go on about her for hours x
As do I, GSDs are my favourite breed, loyal, intelligent, courageous and so loveable
Question Author
I warn you pysbbo , you will be sick of reading about her ! . x
Growing up I had a GSD, I used to take the saddle and bridle off my rocking horse - saddle up Rocky and ride him!!

Not bad considering my grandfather rescued him from an 80ft drop!
Will you have one eventually, fgt?
Question Author
FGT how did that happen ??
Dog being down a cliff? We are not sure, Dia was a coastguard in scotland and Rocky either was chucked down the cliff or chucked overboard a boat?

He had been down there several days and several attempts at rescue had failed - had Dia not been able to rescue him then he would have been shot rather than he suffer anymore.

My Dia has several bravery medals for rescuing animals.

Psybbo - I doubt it very much - mr fgt is very new to dogs and as such we had to compromise greatly on the type of dog - GSD scare him to death and Welsh terriers do not appeal to him at all - hense we ended up with a lab!!!
Question Author
what an amazing man your grandfather is , That's some story ! x
Labs are lovely as well, fgt, very intelligent too, enjoy x
Jasmin that was in 75 and I still have the newspaper clippings - we stepped off a flight from Hongkong and my grandfather handed over the pup.

My grandfather was a very special man and I was privileged to know and love him.
Question Author
What a lovely thing to say, I feel the same about mine and my Dad who sadly isn't here anymore x
