jasmin, congrats on your puppy, can I just say that you should not be berated for wanting a full bred rather than a rescue.
Had hubby allowed me I would have bought a Welsh Terrier (very expensive and rare) but as a compromise to getting a dog I had to get a rescue - don't get me wrong I love him to bits but a little bit of me will always hanker after a welsh terrier.
Tilly she is going to go to a crèche two days a week once she has been spayed so in the mean time we are going to take her puppy classes, I think she will love it.
FGT thank you for those kind words-almost puts me off posting and also reading post on here when I see some of the things that are said x
Thanks FGT , had I realised my post would generate as many negative comments I probably wouldn't have asked the question. However you are right , there are some lovely, helpful people on here who have assisted me in the past,x
Dog being down a cliff? We are not sure, Dia was a coastguard in scotland and Rocky either was chucked down the cliff or chucked overboard a boat?
He had been down there several days and several attempts at rescue had failed - had Dia not been able to rescue him then he would have been shot rather than he suffer anymore.
My Dia has several bravery medals for rescuing animals.
Psybbo - I doubt it very much - mr fgt is very new to dogs and as such we had to compromise greatly on the type of dog - GSD scare him to death and Welsh terriers do not appeal to him at all - hense we ended up with a lab!!!
