They were getting a new female dog and they asked their 4 year old daughter what they should call it. She replied with "roy" when asked why - especially as this was a male name, she said that it was because if they ever lost the dog and anyone shouted "oi" the dog would respond and they'd always find it. Clever for a 4 year old. Probably not what you want to call a female dog tho. Just a chance to tell my story really, how sad?! lol :) x
ummmm we've had a few of them and they are good, we had a Hamster called Dennis and more recently Tracy. But years 20 years ago my friend had a labrador called Alan and another had a canary called Colin. I also had a friend whose cats were called Acoombs and Alyst, usually people would say eh? and he would reply yeah Cat...Acoombs, and Cat...alyist! so Zorro's Hush would work along the same lines while she's a puppy.
depends what sort of dog it is doesnt it? fluffy is hardly the name for a bull mastif and a toy poodle called butch will be teased by all the other dogs in the rec.
I had a border collie called Laddie, how original lol but my cats are called piglet (she has no chin like winnie the pooh's little friend) Weed (little runt) and squiffy (named after a univertsity broom, dont ask)
