kitten paws

hi my kitten is 8 months old and on the pads of her feet she has what looks like nails?! they stick out and have grown and are hard like nails anyone know what these are? she has them on two pads? all the others are ok

I had a dog who had some bone sticking out of his skin at the end of his tail - the vet suggesting amputating the end of his tail in case he caught it and it bled, but it never caused him a problem, but he had a lot of hair there anyway. If I was you I would take her to the vets, as it could cause he problems in the future.

hi thanks but the vet already seen them didn't say anything about it!!? think he thinks im bit of a mad thing worring about nothing and everything when it comes to my kitten jus wondering if any one knew what they were
