smelly anal glands!!

ive got a 3 year old border collie which has bad anal glands. changed his diet to burns food, and add bran to each meal which has helped a little.
ne other ideas on how to stop them smelling so quickly?they seem to fill up within 2 weeks of having them emptied!!

The vet will give them a good clear out that should improve the situation for you and make your dog feel heaps more comfy too

Try giving him a knuckle bone, this will firm up his poos and help to push against the anal glands which will help empty them naturally.

the vets pop them for you, (wouldn't fancy doin it myself) lol my dog has hers ppped every visit, she seems a little better since i put her on dry foods, boring i know but w
