My reply is a long time ago since you lost your baby, but I hope today your pain is that little bit easier as a family, someone wrote a poem about cats when I lost my mastiff at only 4 yrs old through a heart murmur I almost had a breakdown and had him cremated and kept his ashes I remember going in to visit his body and a poem about a pussy cat beoing on the wall next to him, on the way out we were given a poem about a dog too, I would love to share it with you.
In so many words it said god set off one day wth a little follower he made the stars and the sky, he gave names to the grass and the land, etc etc atlong last god sat down on a rock and the little creature turned to him and said god may I ask I have followed you for days and nights, i am hungry but have not asked to be fed am thirsty but have not asked to drink and have been there for you all the way, this is when god turned around and said "My special friend, you are mans best friend and that is why I have waited until now to give you your name I shall call you after me, your name will be mine turned arouned and the little creature looked up at his master and realized he was "dog", god in reverse, the most special and only place to be. My point is although that was about a dog I have also lost 2 cats 2 the road one to old age and have always had them together this time was just especially painful for my own reasons and that poem I must say saved me as allanimal lovers will understand and gave me a reason to move on as I hope you have. 6 years later I have never ever forgotten him and never will, I stillcarry his photo and stuff but now have a lurcher and terrier who apparently can have a much longer life span hence why I rescued them and now look again towards the future, I am sure the absters would love to know how you are getting on xxxx
