Cats eyes

One of my cats has suddenly developed a funny looking eye It looks cloudy and where the yellow is around the pupil it is darker than usual. This has only just happened one minute ok then next minute very odd. Anyone any clues ??.

Is the white part of the eye reddened and does the eye appear sore? And are the pupils wide, even if you shine a light into them, or do they constrict?

If the answer is yes to any of the above, best take the cat to the vets.
