finally stopped bleeding

thanx for answers on bitch 22 days .now the bleeding has stopped after 29 days she now has mucus coming from her nose and her nipples are swollen (behind them ) ive got vets tomorrow but could do with some help please she being quite clingy and on and off with her food but is full off enegy

Can't see how the nose is connected to the season, but I am sure your vet will sort her out tomorrow. Make sure she is kept away from males though, as I had a bitch mated on day 30.

mmm I know that the books say season lasts 28 days, starts bloody, goes clear dries up and so on, but dogs haven't read the books and there is a great variation on norm...I am sure that the vet will reassure you (has reassured you by now)

thanx guys she has an infection in the nose. bad news though she now has to see a heart expert as befor the season she had a grade 3 five weeks on a grade 4 just my look shes only 10 months last 2 dogs i had only got to 4 and 4 1/2 through cancers i changed breed but yet again ive picked the wrong one

What breed is she, and were the parents tested for heart problems? Cavaliers have serious heart problems, yet it is possible to test the parents and not breed from affected dogs, but so many Cavs are still bred that should never be.
Even if tested they can have a problem, but at least if the parents are ok you have a good chance of the pup being ok too. If the parents are affected, then you are buying a timebomb. Boxers also suffer from heart problems.

shes a boxer cant get in touch with breeder as we found after we got her that they were just in it for the money and wouldnt reply to any calls we made so were not sure of any history she hadnt got murmer when she had her puppy check which is not good news because if there born with one they tend to grow out of it but this has only just come to light i,m starting to think this is my job to give a home to animals which only have a short life. at least its a good life with us even though its heart breaking for us

thanx for that doesnt matter what the out come she'll be well looked after and very spoilt but just as daft she fell in the duck pond today and found out she liked to swim. but didnt like the bath when we got home, dogs dont we just love them
