Why is my cat so naughty?
I have two cats mother and daughter , i have had them both for 6 months and all was well. I had the mother neuted about two months ago and since then the kitten has been out of control , she started spraying all around the house her bath and my bedside table being her preference.Even tho she was spraying ever where she was very loving and happy with her mother. The spraying got so bad (to the extent she was waiting outside the bedroom door when i got up zooming straight in and weeing before id even blinked! On reccommendation of the vet i had her neuted Thursday of last week hoping this would help nope as soon as i got her home and out the pet carrier she was back to her old self only stooping instead of spraying up right! Iv since brough another litter tray with hood nope she prefers us to see her do it , ive moved the food into a different room and even placed dry food where she is doing it to turn it into a happy place! None of this is working and she is now fighting with her mother they cant stand the sight of each other any more.
please help as she has so much character and is so loving i dont want to have to re home her
Thank you

I have to admit I haven't come across this but cats can have power struggles and it could be that your little one is trying to exert authority. You don't say how old they are but it sounds like a fairly typical mother/daughter thing. Does your vet have a behavioural expert in the practice? It might be worth speaking to someone especially if her change in behaviour has become very different.
