Dogs and foxes

My 2 Jack russels killed a fox in the garden yesterday. I got rid of the fox and de-fleaed the dogs. Was wondering if i should take the dogs to the vet ? Incase they have caught something... Also does this mean that my usually friendly dogs are now going to be hard to control..

Just thought you might like to know melanie ann, in the June edition of 'The Field' there is an article on how to pick a terrier, to make sure you get what you want, whether its for terrorising the local fox population or to chase next doors cat off.

Watch out for worms!! My JR's used to catch rabbits and one of them was full of tapeworm......... not pleasant when the worms come out...I suggest you get worming tabs x your vet - pronto!!

All wormed and defleaed... even had a hair cut... just bought them an anti bark collar each, hav'nt tried them yet, although worried that it might hurt their ears... got to be done though as they drive me mad when people walk past the house.

I knew a Jack Russell that lived on a farm who was the loveliest temperant dog unless of course you happened to be a rat or a fox and then it went for you. I do not think that you need to worry if your dogs are usually friendly. Terriers were breed as hunting dogs. And to all you other idiots would you put a cat down for killing birds or mice or rats it is the same thing it is what they were breed to do
