hiya my bitch has come on season and we are just wanting to know how long she will be like this because it is driving our male dog crackers.

Shoulda thoughta that before you got a bitch with an entire dog. It will be about three weeks at least before she is safe from his advances, and the worst time will be about 12 - 14 days in. Having said that my dog mated my bitch on day 28 so you are in for a long haul. See the thread on animals and nature about this.

Hi sandean3, are you intending to breed your dogs? Is your male dog neutared?

I think that the length of time in season depends on the breed tbh, it could range from 5 to 10 days I think.

All breeds are the same length of time in season, its just individual dogs that may go on a few days longer.
