Sorry, I haven't been on here much this last week, I've been feeling bl00dy awful :-{ I've had no energy at all and I think the lung cancer is getting worse as I'm having difficulty breathing. I've got a hospital appointment next Tuesday so I hope they will be able to sort me out then. As for the foxes I still drag myself up to see them every night , in a way I think it helps me to get out, my little vixen has had her cubs I think because instead of eating the food, she's taking it away, probably feeding the cubs with it.

Gelda, I love fox's and would love them to come into my garden, I live in the country over looking fields in 12 years i have lived here i have never seen 1 fox in the field, I hope you feel better soon.

Perhaps there isn't enough food for them in your area, my sister lives right in the middle of nowhere near the Mendips and she's never seen a fox, but there are no rabbits either. Maybe you could try putting some food down, that's the only way to attract them, try putting some raw eggs and some raw chicken wings ( not cooked ) down and if they disappear in a couple of days there are foxes around, I'm looking forward to seeing the cubs, I heard them last night but no sighting yet, last year we had 16 of them. Let me know if you see any.
