I'm getting a new kitten.
I'm getting a kitten soon. It's been a long time since I had a cat.
What do I need ?
When do they get their jabs? And how much are they now?

They usually have their first innoculations between 9 and 12 weeks of age.It is always advisable to take a new kitten to a vet for a general health check/worming/de-fleaing.My vet charges £40.00 for the full course of injections, fee to be paid up front.Health checks are £20.00 and worming and de-fleaing is usually just the cost of the products used.

It depends on whether the mother cat has taught them to use it.Some kittens have to be shown where to do their business but they 'usually' catch on fairly quickly. You may need to try different brands of cat litter as they are fussy little blighters.I used to use soil from the garden for my cats as they wouldn't tolerate shop bought litter,it also meant it was easy to clean and dispose of too....I just emptied it back into the garden and dug it in.lol
