Is the Frontline flea treatment that's available on the internet the same as you get from the vet's. TIA.

Yes its the same, but you cannot buy the spray online, only the spot on drops. The spray is only available from the vet by prescription (well not exactly true, you can get it online from abroad but it might not be the same constituents). Either get the spray from the vet, or buy drops online from one of the reputable canine chemists, such as Pet Dispensary,...

Either get the spray from the vet, or buy drops online from one of the reputable canine chemists, such as Pet Dispensary, Hyperdrug, Vet-Medic Pharmacy.
There are 2 types of frontline spot-on, the normal one which you can buy online, at the vets or in stores, and then there is frontline combo spot-on which you need a vet prescription for, however once you have the prescription you don't have to buy it from the vet you can it buy online.

Thank you both - I guess the combo one is what the vet was talking about.
Bear in mind, the flea treatment you buy at the vet (as opposed to the sort you buy in shops and many places online) is of a different strength. You may find that the online/shop version isn't strong enough to treat the problem.
