Boy have I made a big mistake with my wee dog. Was on earlier there re fireworks.

Anyway my next problem is I have allowed him to lie on top of my bed for about 6 months now - at the bottom - but during the night he is putting his back to mine and it is too painful for me as I suffer from fibromyalgia. I am nearly hanging out of the bed which is a king-size - anyway last night I woke loads of times literally pushing him away from me and you know what they say "let sleeping dogs lie" so he does not like it and growled a bit which I dont like.

How can I break this behaviour. I could put him out on the landing but I am deaf and if he started to cry and whimper all night I would not hear him but am afraid of my neighbours. God I am sorry I started this.

He does have his own bed and lies on it for about 2-3 hours until I am ready to sleep. A few times I did not bother putting him on my bed and fell asleep myself but in the middle of the night he hopped on to it.

No wonder I have been complaining to my friends I am so very very tired in the morning. I have to stop this. Any advice from anybody please.

Your answers echo my sentiments. That is the only thing I can do - is get him off during the night until he gets the message.
