I've just heard about this on the news, just look at this clip, if it's true it's hideous, and I hope they can identify this cruel, horrible woman and prosecute . The poor cat was in the wheelie bin for 15 hours according to the news report - just imagine what would have happened if it was dustbin day.
I'm curious, though, how this came to be captured on CCTV - do you think it's true? Media URL: http://blogs.coventrytelegraph.net/ladslounge/2010/08/woman-throws-cat-into-wheelie.html

its always best to hear two sides of the story cannyman, she has not murdered or mutilated the cat and the act in itself was bizarre rather than horrific. so the mental health question would have to be considered as well as a dislike for cats.

Cazzz the cat could have died of starvation if the owners hadn't found it in the bin, it was there for 16 hours as it was.
fair enough box, I didnt read how long
The cat was not harmed. It was in a bin near a pavement, outside the owners home. It would have been heard, and it was, and rescued. No harm done.
Save your vitriol, threats, hatred, rants for those that cold bloodedly harm animals, hurt children, rape, murder, torture, kidnap, bomb, shoot, kill, drown...
There are plenty of monsters out there, and this woman isn't one. She done wrong, she didn't do evil.
hc4361 how would you like to be locked in a wheelie bin for 16 hours with no food or drink.
theoretically a cat could live for several weeks without food and several days without water

(ooops the nots ran away with me)
What kind of person would think of causing unnecessary suffering to a little kitten.Hope some nice person puts her windows in.
"Crap" because there are plenty who will try to be the first to mock and criticise those who choose to hound and encourage vigilante behaviour on child abusers but it seems it is ok to do the same when an animal is abused. Double standards in bountiful supply here.
I am a cat owner, and dont condone her behaviour, but threats of death or damage to her property,is a bit too far...
The thing is Captin if it was a child she would have been arrested because it was JUST a kitten no charges as yet. Are you saying that people who are cruel to animals should not face any puishment ?.
How horrifying this is also just goes to show how horrifying it is that we are all constantly under surveillance...

She will face any punishment as deemed fit by the eyes of the law. Or are you above the law and wish to condone vigilante antics?
There is a person in the news section that answers questions just like you.

The RSPCA said it was "appalled" by Ms Bale's actions and was continuing investigations to decide whether to bring charges against her.

Police did not arrest Ms B**** because she did not committed a criminal offence.

What happened to the law about animal cruelty.
