reward treats for pup

has anyone got any good tips for pup reward treats . we dont want pup getting fat , are rawhides safe for pups to digest. Any help of what treat to put in a kong that will stay put... please help ...thankyou

I break them and feed small pieces as reward treats. Dogs love them as they are easily digested. Rawhide is OK if supervised, but personally I wouldn't give it to a puppy is case they swallow large pieces.

Double cooked liver.
But ox liver, get butcher to slice.
Simmer in water till just cooked.
Cut into cubes.
Dry bake in slow to med oven till dry.
Apparently very intense flavour and dogs love it.
I also had a friend who used fruit. She carried a bag of chopped up fresh fruit.
My own German Shepherd would kill for satsumas, although my terrier type heinz variety won't touvh fruit of any sort.
