missing cat
20 Answers
I have just done the rounds to make sure all my animals are tucked up for the night. I thought one of the cats was upstairs, keeping out of the way, but have had a look all round the house and he is no where around. He is an old cat, 16 years old, but has been eating and drinking OK. He hasn't wanted to go outside lately but thought it was because its getting a bit chilly. I have a horrible feeling that he has 'gone off'somewhere.like cats do. But perhaps he will turn up in the morning.

My cat hates being out over night (I don't like leaving him out either) but every now and then he goes for a wonder and doesn't want to come home so I just give up in the end and go to bed. He always seems to make sure he's close by for the next few nights so he doesn't get locked out again.
I'm sure he'll be back and feeling sorry for himself tomorrow.

One of mine seemed to disappear once - we combed the house but couldn't find her, we even searched outside, even though she had always refused to set a paw out of doors. She turned up in her usual spot on her cushion under the bookshelves. I fervently hope that this is the case for your missing boy, please let us know if her turns up

Cats are simply quite contrary animals. Sometimes they just decide to do something different (I am sure there is an element of devilment that says "I'll make slave suffer for a few hours so she appreciates me even more"). He hasn't wanted to go outside, but perhaps he has just changed his mind. I'm sure there is absolutely nothing to worry about and Woody will be back when he feels good and ready.
Well its the middle of the night and I'm awake, so thought I'd have a look outside again to see if Woody has come home. And, there he was, sitting outside the back door,as if to say" come on mum,its cold out here, let me in". So downstairs I go, Woody lopes in,and he is now tucking in to a bowl of food. Then no doubt he will snuggle down in his bed and sleep.HAPPY ENDING....Thanks to all you lovely people for your kind thoughts... :-)
