cat smell
2 Answers
A friend of mine has a cat that has started smelling musky, it is medium haired, and it has not rolled in anything as far as she could see, the smell has been lingering for about 2 weeks now and not getting better or worse, any ideas on what this could be???

If it isn't a tom cat, a change in smell can be due to kidney problems...that leaves a strange distinct whiff, or what about anal gland problems...that's a weird old stink...kind of cross between rotten eggs & fish!
There are probably loads of other illnesses/conditions that can cause strange smells, so it needs a trip to the Vet for sure.
