Boarding Kennels

Hi, does anyone know of some really good boarding kennels in Kent.  I live in the Bromley area.  I am going away in August for a long weekend and need to find somewhere for my beloved pooch!  She is a rescue dog and she had some troubled times before I got her so she can be nervous around strangers and doesn't get on with other dogs.  Many thanks in advance.

It doesn't really sound like she would be suitable for kennels then,some dogs are and some dogs aren't suited,especially if she is a rescue dog,it could make her feel like your abondoning her. You sais she does't like other dogs,the kennel will have lots and also lot's of strange people so putting her in a kennel would probably be very distressing and scary for her. Why not try a better option of leaving her at home and either have someone you know come to feed her,walk her etc,there are lots of pet sitters out there or could someone you know not have her in their house whilst your away?

i'd go along with that.
However if that is not possible go and visit all the kennels to find one that looks good.
I've never forgotten taking my dog into kennels that I had not inspected, and finding that they were awful.
I had to change my plans.
