Oh dear, looks like the snip then.

Lol, she has made a right booby naming it looby!
Change it to Lubo... We had to change our rabbits name from Polly to Donnie under the same circumstances :)
Oh dear, poor Looby - first he's given a girly name, then tonyav suggests having his bits done away with!
So it turns out that Looby has no Booby.
I doubt the cat will either care or realise that it's got a girls name, one of my friends had a female cat called Eddie for years.
Eddie! lol!
Could be changed to Edwina, Chuck.
I used to look after a male cat called Lily - they thought he was a girl at first like your daughter. The cat won't care what he's called, lol
My Aunt called her female cat Thomas (after my Dad)

The cat didn't seem to care.
I had a pet mouse I named Harvey who went to produce 6 lovely babies.

Lol the funny thing is that is looks like a girl, if that makes any sense. A very pretty cat.
So She's a boy....Scooby ?

Scooby, I like that!
If she has had the cat for a few months - has it not been vaccinated?
heard it happen before my friend hand reared a kitten she thought was girl, oh boy was she wrong. The cat was Lucy but spelt Luc-he lol i just called him tank!
I had a cat which I thought was a girl and named her Lulu, but after a few years a vet told me Lulu was infact a boy. It was quite funny but we never changed the name because the cat was used to it!
Do house cats need vaccinating?

FriedTom made me wonder.
Our cat is called Harry, despite being female, named after Harry Houdini as she couldn't be found when the kittens were going to their new homes. We did not name her, her previous owners did, and as she was already about 6 or 7 years old, we didn't pick another name for her - although if we did, it would probably be Crosspatch - she's a very moody cat, my dogs all give her a very wide berth.
House cats do need vaccinating as they are exposed to other cats bugs if the end up at the vets we learned thids to our cost when Brenda had to go to the vet and brought back cat flu which nearly finished off Snoopy and Smudge.. Smudge ended up with a chronic nasal congestion and overall costs must have been over £1,000 (600 in the initial treatment alone for the three cats) however one good thing neutering a male cat is cheaper than neutering a female.
