How are the grandchildren doing? Is Muffin coping okay with her litter? I hope that they are all healthy and happy little hounds (or should that be horrors?)

Hi, they are great and Muffin is a super Mum. She now leaves them for a while and will come on a reasonable walk, but straight in to check on them when we get back. I'm enjoying the 'holiday'. No work to do - well we'll worm them on Monday - until we start to feed them solids in a couple of weeks time.
Then we'll have rather messier bedding to change!

Don't tell me that you have taken paternity leave.

I am glad that she is okay. It is strange that animals seem to naturally know what to do and humans ............ we're not so intelligent.

I presume that they all have homes already - she is an unusual breed and if you have done your science homework the puppies should have good genes.

Have fun.
I'm retired so no maternity leave required (I didn't know Goofy wa a man until I learnt it on AB!).
Prospective owners for 5 of the 7. Getting them to come and inspect/be inspected before confirming sales.

Goofy is a girl? (Well, lassie was a boy so why not!)

You're a granny! I hope that Muffin has more maternal instinct than me. I have my two kitties and have had dogs in the past. Human babies are fine when they are nieces and a nephew.

There is much to be learned on AB. Most of it bullexcrement.
Totally agree about the N&N.
Grandchildren are OK too - they go away after a couple of weks!
