Now that fox hunting is banned to protect the fox; when can we expect fishing to be banned to protect the fish.
Thinking about the fish that are caught and then put back more than those caught to eat.
Surely it is more than cruel to catch a fish using a barbed hook , let it go and catch again & again.

I agree silly moo that it is cruel to keep yanking a fish out of the water with a barbed hook through it's face, the worst example of this I've ever seen was on the canal near skipton. There is a 23lb carp in that stretch of water and all fishermen want to catch "the big one"

On the day I happened to witness it being caught I was appalled that most of it's face had been torn away because it has been caught that many times.

I agree that it is cruel too but it seems much worse to have a fox torn apart by a pack of dogs, even when the fox runs under ground its flushed back out, that's not sport
