I was interested to see what the legal requirement is to call ones eggs "Free Range" I was quite surprised!!

I do apologise if I mislead anybody, that was not my intention, however I think this is pretty much how it is in the chicken houses at night.
AYG, my "RED" chickens are doing well, we have modified their perches as it appears my perches were to thin (1" thick) and they were refusing to perch on them and preferred to roost in the nest boxes, they are now 2"x2" square as recommended by the experts. They will be placed on the perches tonight so they can get the feel of the perches. we are getting about 5 - 6 eggs a day, I think they are still settling in.
