i have just bought two red belly s and they are nt eating verywell could some one please tell me the best way to get them to eat

The way for these beautiful creatures to eat and live normal lives is to NOT take them from their natural habitat and leave them in peace in the Amazon river, instead of kidnapping them and keeping them hostage in a 3 foot long box.

I find if I have a small cut on my finger and then I wiggle it in the tank this seems to bring back their appetite.

What are you feeding them, cloude? Unpleasant as it may seem, piranha do like to do their own killing, and some in captivity don't take kindly to food that's already dead.

you should take them back to gorseinon and get better fish that are not scared of firemouths that are a quater of the piranhas size. or alternatively you could feed them baby milk.
