Can anyone help identify this "creature"?

I'm staying in Brazil for a couple of months and whilst out walking the other day, I came across the creature... I took a photo, but can anyone shed any light as to what it is?!

It looks a bit like a spider, but only appears to have 6 legs. So, maybe it's something else, perhaps.

Thanks! I am getting in to photography since getting kitted out with a Canon Digital SLR at Crimbo! I did notice that, but it still looks kinda spidery! And are there any other animals that live in webs? Unless this beast came along and ate the spider?! LOL ... perhaps he lost the other 2 in the fight? Maybe..?!

Co-incidentally, there is something in my bathroom right now that looks spider-ish but only has six legs. It has a very small round body but can't offer any more identifying features as I didn't want to get too close.
