Wintering seaside donkeys

I have a farm and shelter and am considering looking into taking care of seaside donkeys for the winter. Has anyone had any experience of this and, more to the point, does anyone have any contact numbers, website addresses, email addresses etc? Thanks

I really have no idea except to suggest perhaps contacting the local council who would give out permits for the donkeys to be allowed to operate on the beach. The council would surely have contact with the owners of the donkeys but whether they would give out that information I'm not sure.
What a lovely thing to be doing pipdawg. Perhaps if you have no success with the seaside donkeys you could try a donkey rescue such as the one sandy has posted.
