It's a shame that the frogs have lost their breeding grounds, it seems to have been well established.
They are under threat from disease and habitat loss in the UK.
Transporting them can induce stress and possibly increase the spread of disease ie 'Red leg syndrome'
Hopefully the frogs and possibly other amphibians will move on to pastures new of their own accord, if there is somewhere else near-by.
It may help if you can contact a local wildlife trust or the environment agency for help and advice.
Sorry if it's made you feel bad, I guess you had your own reasons for getting rid of the ponds, it sounds like a horror stort out there
