Morning Boaty - a smidgen warmer? Don't think so - snowing up here - very light but it is defo snow!! Temp on car 0.5 - heater was on full and now in office and bloody boiler hasn't fired up - going to stick my size 10s up it's Yabbie. Back in a minute or 2
We had another engineer come and look at it yesterday and he has condemned it!! 'Beyond economical repair' is the technical term but f**ked was the actual term he used. Awaiting a quote for replacement. Facilities Manager said he was going to look at the possibility of having a remote control sytem for the boilers, so that I don't have to leave my desk!!
Morning sweetpea - bit fired up this morning, aren't we? Beejay will be getting hot under the collar!!! The firm who 'fixed' it are no longer on our tender list due to other issues which I am unable to comment on. Should have stayed with the local 'one man band' plumber who gives good service, albeit at a price. My ethic is that I use local suppliers wherever possible, they have never, ever, let me down - they can't afford to lose a big account like ours
Not true, Boaty, they should have told us that it was knackered and put in a quote to replace it, not to keep coming out to do 'fixes' with a £200 call out fee each time
At the time that company did sound as if they were a bunch of chancers.
Who can afford to lose business in this climate, they obviously think they can.
idiots.
Too early to all them what they really are!!
Anyhoo, the younger alba had 'words' with me last night, unfortunately I've a long memory. Silly boy.
I have a printing stationery supplier who goes out of his way to ensure that any of my stuff gets delivered well within the 'estimated time of delivery'. For example, I placed an order on a Tuesday for a batch of cheques with an estimated delivery time of 10-14 working days - they turned up on the same Thursday!!
Morning Sloopy xx
Heard that on the radio thismorning and thought 'that's going to be a happy sloopy on the go this morning!'
Survived Yorkshire yesterday then?
