Do Blue Tits Build More Than One Nest And Choose Which One To Use?

I have had a pair building a nest in the bird box. Well actually only the female as is the norm. They are coming to the bird table and i have seen them around quite a lot but by now i was expecting to only see the male feeding his girl as she sat on the eggs. Anyone know the answer?

Blue tits usually investigate a few sites and the female chooses the one she prefers. It's not unknown for them to build two nests though.
