My Cat Has A Cracked Pelvis And A Dislocated Hip. Help.
10 Answers
Please help , my cat was hit bt a car last night , after £275 vet bill today we have her at home with a broken pelvis and a dislocated hip. The vet has said we gave to keep her still not let her out and it will all repair itself. Is this correct !?? The poor little mite can not stand up her back keg gives way. She is in no pain because of pain killers. But will the hip really reset itself? The vet said she can not do it as she is worried she will cause more trouble.

Thinking about it I had a dog many years ago that cracked his pelvis and the vet said it would heal itself. We used to put a towel underneath the back half of his body and hold it up to take the weight while he did his business in the garden. He felt very sorry for himself for a while but he lived for many years after that.
