Wasp Nest In Next Doors Roof!

just been told by my next door neighbour that tomorrow council will be round to sort out a wasps nest in their roof its a very large one apparently,what will they do and should we keep our windows closed just in case cheers

I had one treated last week. The pest controller sprayed some white powder into it and said to shut the windows and doors for an hour as the wasps might go a bit mad, but they didn't. A few flew out and after about an hour there were no more wasps.

That's strange my daughter had the same thing. There just doesn't seem to be any wasps flying around.
