2006 because they didnt want/ need to keep the otters in captivity any more. Apparently you can still see them if you are a Trust member

Thanks dr pop - I actually live 15 or so miles from there, passing only occasionally, and wondered where the signs had gone, then my grandson said it wasn't there any more. It was a lovely leisurely place to go for an afternoon, though sometimes the otters stayed out of sight!
