Horse to loan (Or not!?)
2 Answers
I loaned my beautiful mare out on www.horsetoloan.com I am not complaining quite the opposite! She is with a really nice family as I am very busy with work at the moment. The thing is that when I go to see her it is now obvious that she has really bonded with them and is very relaxed and happy I know that if i am honest she is happier there, is it cruel to take her back next year or should I let them buy her?? Anyone been in this situation or have any sugestions

However you have to ask yourself seriously are you going to have the time to put into your horse. Asyou know they are very time consuming they need to be fed and watered and need lots of exercise. Some more than others. Ihad to make a decision with my daughters horse. He needed lots of exercise and with her exams she didnt have the time to put in and he is a very talented jumper and eventer so we made the decision to sell him and get a horse that she can just plod around on with out all the hard work. This suits her for now. So if you think you will have time for your mare then by all means take her back when you want., she is yours after all. But if not it would be better to sell her then look for something else at a later stage.
