Last night we were asked - What is the only mammal to exist on all continents, including Antarctica. The answer given was mouse but can anyone think of any others?

Also, I gave the answer - hare, and would like to know if that is right or not. If not which continent does it not exist on.

It appears that the only mammal to live "on" Antarctica is varieties of seals.  They actually live, primarily, in the oceans surrounding the continent, but do exit the sea to give birth... Seals do inhabit all oceans of the world, so I would imagine they also can inhabit all continents...No mice or hares are listed as inhabitants of Antarctica...

Couldnt be man could it?

There are cats on Antarctica which were taken there by the researchers - but I would go with mycatis' answer.
