Its been pleasant here today, dogs have done so much sleeping its unreal...I see its not going to last now and I will have to incarcerate the torts again...this will not please them.

Hello. Hiya flew in again at 7am so we've been up for ages. It rainy grey and chilly.
nothing very much exciting happening at the moment
Am making a beef stew.

That's very clever woofy.sunny day again today which is lucky as hija did a huge load of mixed colours washing, ah well I've just hung it out. Itching to redo the whites but had better not interfere!
We are out to lunch at a nice Asian restaurant as hija wants to try it. I've been there and it's very different, not your usual Asian food.

chilly out there today, OH went on one of our neighbourhood walks and came back rather cold and damp. Then it got sunnier, now we have hail.

cold here today. The tortoises are sulking because they have to be indoors. I have had to cut a me-bent-double hole in a two foot thick hedge interlaced with bramble and roses in order to haul one tortoise out to safety

Sunny but chilly still here. Just flooded the new kitchen with all the hot water, I am so annoyed with myself, hija was just going to have a bath now shell have to wait an hour! I lefy hot tsp on and plug in
It's taken 6 bathsheets, 3 mops and uncountable tea towels to mop it up. But it seems almost dry except it keeps running from under the cooker and fridges and am worried about electric shocks so I banned hija from entering and I wore wellies.

seems a roundabout way to clean the floors, neti, but at least hija has the opportunity to watch good housekeeping in action.

The sun is shining, the birds are singing, I am off to have another tooth out, since it is broken beyond repair.

dentist has decided to leave the tooth where it is as it hasn't been causing problems (which is because there isn't a tooth below it to grind on); he'll pull it out next time it causes trouble, which sounds fair enough to me. He could just have yanked it out and charged me.

Not only did hija watch the wet disaster she videod it and now I m all over the internet. Her friends think I'm funny and know where she gets her weirdness from. How does one spell videod??

Lovely sunny day here but chilly in the wind.
Crikey Neti .I hoped you're fully dried out by now and that the rest of you are all ok.
Nothing much doing here. The roofing work is nearly done thank goodness.Just waiting for the men to come tomorrow to do the cladding at the front and the fascia on the gable and remove the scaffolding.Had a bit of hiccup with them as they expected us to pay for all the tiles including the ones they didn't use.If they can't count and over order then that's not my fault.It's sorted now but we've had enough aggro and didn't need them to argue the toss about it.
