Oh dear Shaney, old peoples food and a walker! Can I ever Speak to you again??
Don't be bent over too much as this happened to a friend and she was bent double in the end. Actually it would be nice except I would have a job pushing it uphill and then trying to get it over the stony path. Id need to sit down a lot! Now you can bash other people's ankles yay!! Actually well done to you. Next youll have a mobility scooter zooming around!
Hija is in Switzerland for the weekend, I think there maybe a boyfriend involved but I won't rush out to buy a hat just yet!!
I have decided to stay at home today. A pj day. Just didnt fancy any restaurants and qe have nice food at home ( as long as he prepares it)
No goats feet left and shop not open til tomorrow!

Haha Neti.I'll be wearing dark glasses and a balaclava when I go out with it.I don't think a scooter would be any good to me .I'd be hauled in for undue care and attention. Gazing into shop windows and not looking where I'm going.A scooter would be the pits .This is bad enough.
I got the tall one because I don't want to be bent over. You see these old dames wobbling along bent over with them and I want to walk upright.
Not a bad day, sunny intervals but still chilly.
Hope the rest of you are all ok.

I think the old ladies who are bent over were bent over before they got the walker and that's why they got one
My friend was a rather tall woman and don't need a walker but she decided she wasn't well and was rich enough to put herself in a private care home where she had her own apartment. She then decided she needed a walker and used it all the time ..we told her to walk without it but she wouldn't and also got a taxi everywhere! She was the one who killed herself last year. She had been very athletic in her youth. Such a shame. But once she decided she was ill that was it!!
Bought 2 more packs of bokkenpootjes ( so thats 32 of them) and Paas assortiment which are like iced diamonds. Yum
Have defrosted old fridge/freezer and changed our bedding inro summer ones which takes a while. Now.nice plain white curtains and a white duvet with lilac and pink big flowers at the bottom
I want to change it all to yellow white and grey but with purple walls it Won t go even though Mr N said he would paint it.
I know white walls would save a lot of trouble but for years here we all had just white walls so I don't want them now.
Can't wallpaper as walls too uneven and old!
Ah deep joy new f/freezer is installed but have to wait 2 hrs to plug it in
One of the delivered looked at me and said "I'm too old for this"! I said don't look at me and disappeared !
What a shame about the Notre Dame, i do hope they can save some of it!
looks in a terrible state, neti; I suppose it depends on whether the ceiling burns hot enough to damage the stonework. The Great Fire of London split stones from Old St Paul's in two.

Just been looking at the reports. What a tragedy. Is it a world heritage site ?
Nothing doing here. It's been a nice day but still chilly. However we're promised lovely weather for Easter. It could reach the dizzy heights of 25°C.Whoopee.
Go easy on those goats feet Neti or you'll be bleating that they're all gone:)
All that history gone in a blink pf an eyelid. I was so upset when the spire fell down!!!
Actually shaney im getting a bit sick of them now!
Filling the f/freezer golly it's vast!
room for a granny flat in there?
or perhaps a flat granny?
Have a huge water leak so now the water company are digging up the road. Thought it was our fault but don't think so now. We have no water! At least I have a huge f/freezer!!!!
Very grey and drizzly here. Not much doing as no shops open.

That's a shame Neti. It's lovely here.20C in the back garden although
chillier in the front .It's always a bit cooler here than inland but the garden is a sun trap. We're all tidy for Easter but much poorer after shelling out for a leg of lamb.Otherwise nothing doing .Hope you're all ok.
hello all we are having a lazy day here...that's about it really
We went for a drive and a blustery walk , gosh it was chilly. Couldn't find anywhere to have a coffee on the other side of Ibiza town so stopped in a cockroach infested ( well it was once) cafe and had a hot coffee.
Then home,
Lit the fire, ate curry and snuggled up in frontroom where Mr N promptly fell asleep watching footy! This weather is predicted until Mon/Tues. I don't mind. Buying leg of lamb tomorrow.
