How are things with the three little ones? Has Caspar actually realised that you have another cat living in his house? Is Sally getting on with Amber?
Caspar sounds like he would be great and also frustrating to live with.
You need to line them up and take a picture ~ happy families.
I am off to turf Frankie off my duvet and maybe get some sleep before it is time to get up. Merlin is trying to see how far she can push me before I snarl at her. She sits on the desk beside me and headbuts my shoulder. And then she goes "eek". Grrrrrr

Well,Caspar is a devilish stalker, and also a bully. He may "look" like he's sleeping...but as soon as amber thinks the coast is clear, and she can eat in peace...he's skulking around-watching her. He paces around her...then pushes her away from the food dish.
She tends to 'hide' in the upstairs bedrooms....so he stands guard on the stairs so she can't come down. Every so often there is hissing and screetching. Sally joins in the chasing... I think she feels she doesn't want to be left out. But Amber seems to be trusting enough to occasionally roll around on her back in front of Sally.
I guess we will get there in the end. Meanwhile,Amber is becoming a bit roly-poly. I've never had a tubby cat.
Thanks for asking wolf. x

It is ashame that Caspar is bullying her, maybe when she gets more confident she may stand her ground more. Frankie used to eat his food with a paw in his sister's bowl so that she couldn't eat it. Then one day she thumped him and he stopped doing it.
People think that cats are an easy option compared with dogs. They are complex animals and adding another cat to a household can be a tricky thing to do.
Good luck ~ you might need lots of luck. :-)
